Nunchucks is built around feature stacking. Wilds fill gaps, four Nun symbols each switch on a different power, Re-Spins keep those powers alive, and two tiers of free spins decide whether they reset or keep growing. Here is how every piece works in the UK version of the game.
Wild symbols
The wild substitutes for every symbol except Bonus, Super Bonus and the four Nun symbols. When it substitutes, it always pays the highest possible winning combination on that way, as set out in the paytable.
One detail matters more than it looks: a wild can land on top of a Nun symbol without blocking her. The Nun still activates her feature, so a wild landing in the wrong place never costs you a Re-Spin.
Re-Spins
Re-Spins are the engine of the slot, and they run in the base game, in Bonus Spins and in Super Bonus Spins. The sequence works like this:
- Whenever a Nun symbol lands, she activates her Nun Feature and may award a Re-Spin.
- Before the Re-Spins start, every landed Nun fires her feature in turn.
- Activated features stay on for the entire Re-Spin sequence, and their effects combine.
- More Nuns can land during Re-Spins — even under wilds — and add new features.
- Wins are paid after each Re-Spin; the chain ends when no further Re-Spin is awarded.
The four Nun features
Each Sister has one job. They can all be active at the same time, which is where the bigger wins come from.
Sister Love
Wild Reel Nun
Turns the whole reel she lands on into wilds. Every extra Wild Reel Nun converts her own reel too, so several wild reels can stand side by side.
Sister Faith
Multiplier Nun
Gives multipliers to one or more reels. A win touching several multiplier reels adds their values together; a Colossal symbol spanning them sums them all.
Mother Sofia
Upgrade Nun
Adds nothing new — she improves what is running. The Colossal symbol grows one size level, active reel multipliers double, or one to three extra Wild Reels appear.
Bonus Spins
Bonus symbols can land anywhere on the six reels. Three or more in the base game start Bonus Spins, played at the same bet as the spin that triggered them:

During the round, Nuns land and trigger Re-Spins just as in the base game. When a Re-Spin chain ends, the remaining Bonus Spins carry on — but the Nun features reset after each Bonus Spin.
Super Bonus Spins
If at least one of the triggering symbols is a Super Bonus symbol, the game awards Super Bonus Spins instead. The difference is simple and huge: Nun features no longer reset. A Colossal symbol, Wild Reels and reel multipliers stay for the whole feature, more Nuns keep adding to them, and Mother Sofia keeps upgrading them. Which feature matters most in the UK version
Because UK casinos run Nunchucks without feature buys, every bonus round has to be earned on the reels. That makes the base-game Re-Spins more important here than elsewhere: a Nun landing on an ordinary spin is your most frequent route to a bigger win, and Sister Love’s Wild Reels combined with Sister Faith’s multipliers is the pairing to watch. Super Bonus Spins stay rare, so treat them as a bonus on top rather than the reason to keep spinning, and keep to the £5 stake cap (£2 if you are 18–24).
Elevate feature buys — not available in Great Britain
